Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp – President of APSA Thailand Chapter cooperate with Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for New Year safety project.
December 29, 2009, Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp – President of APSA Thailand Chapter attend the meeting with M.R. Sukhumbhand Paribatra The Governor of Bangkok together with
government and private sectors, volunteer, voluntary foundations and medias on the preparation for the safety of city people during the coming New Year season.
The Governor of Bangkok state his safety policies for Bangkok city people with his projects on
- Light up the public minor road and lanes with 50,000 lampposts.
- Installed CCTV cameras for 20,000 cameras.
- Team up with voluntary citizen under the “City Safety Voluntary Project”
At the meeting, The Mayor point out his concern on the safety and security of Bangkok citizen during the new year and holiday seasons and their daily life.
The Mayor expresses his sincere thanks to all sectors that participate in this project.
Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp commented that more attention should be given to most of the risky places and duration especially late at night or early morning.
The advertise of the project should be notify to the publics and Neighborhood Watch policy should be implemented as it is very successful in other countries.
The Mayor concludes and appreciates for all comments given at the meeting.
He said that he is keen to follow all those creative comments though it might have some budgeting problems but he will proceed with all authorization at the soonest he added.

Dr Vallop Kingchansilp President of APSA Thailand Chapter attended the 16th APSA International Conference host by Singapore Chapter at Suntec City Convention Center Singapore
on September 29 – October 1, 2009
During the International Conference, Dr Vallop Kingchansilp presents his presentation on “Private Security in Thailand” for the association members and delegates from all over Asian countries.
Dr. Vallop’s presentation focus on the nature of security industry in Thailand, The combination of security and safety work, insufficient support from government authorities and
ended with Thailand Security Act where the association was urging for over the decade for the implement of this private security law to be effective in order to standardize private security services
with fair and reasonable service contract and lift up the security profession as a skill labour rather than the wages that based on minimum wages rate.
The Private Security Act also can be the conclusion of fair and justice engagement to all parties either the client, the service provider and / or the security guard itself. Other benefit of
the Act is the registration of security person and commercial body as they might be involve with the social and public security functions that required the necessary identifications.
Illegal alien imigration workers from the neighbour countries also is the important matter to be considered and stated in the provision. In fact, this prevention issue must be implemented
as soon as possible as they concern with life and property of the people.
Alongside with the international conference, APSA Singapore Chapter in association with Enterprise Promotion Centres Pte. Ltd. of Singapore organizes the Safety and Security Asia 2009
a trade exhibition at the Suntec City Convention Center. The exhibition features most of the state of the art security and safety products and systems.
Most of the major manufacturers are participated with their new innovations to update the world of security technologies.
And as a tradition of hosting the international conference, the Executive Committee Member (EXCO) meeting from all Chapter President was held to report and discuss on the activities by
various chapters, the Standard Operation Procedures and its constitution. The meeting also granted for Thailand to host the 17th International Conference and EXCO Meeting in the year of 2010.
While the Intersec Thailand 2010 a trade exhibition will be held along with. The exhibition is organized by Messe Frankfurt the world second largest exhibition organizer.
The 16th International Conference and the EXCO Meeting are well success as all the Chapter President are attended the meeting together with many of delegates from various chapter attend the
conference at the satisfactory aimed.

one of the largest exhibitions and conferences for security and safety products in Southeast Asia..
Dr Vallop Kingchansilp President of APSA Thailand Chapter and President / CEO of Guts Investigation Co., Ltd. expressed his comment on the terrorism that attack and spread out
more and more to many countries, this draw the attention of security to their government to strength up protection measures with huge budget on electronic security systems and technologies.
While the economic development in Asia-Pacific that growing faster than anywhere else in the world. This is resulting in considerable demand for homeland security measures at major airports
and land border checkpoints in the region. To protect their countries, governments are investing in security measures with advanced surveillance, screening, and access control systems.
Asia possesses the highest market growth (17.9%) for network security in 2008.The latest Frost research on Asia-Pacific homeland security markets showed that
the markets earned revenues of USD 20.5 billion in 2007, with revenue estimated to reach USD 36.2 billion in 2014.
As of the above, the Thai private sectors are combining to hold the trade exhibition on security devices and systems with the support from Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB)
and Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) Thailand Chapter to be organized by Messe Frankfurt (Hong Kong) Ltd. one of the world largest trade organizer and International Promotion

On May 12, 2009 Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp President / CEO together with the management and employee of Guts Investigation Co., Ltd.
greeting on the visit of Mr.Phaitoon Kaeothong The Minister of Labour who presided over the opening ceremony on Security Guard Training Course.
Together with the Minister, Mr.Nakorn Silpa-Archa Director-General Department of Skill Development and Mrs. Thienrat Navamarat
Director of Bangkok Skill Labour Development Center were attended at the ceremony as guests of honors.
Dr Vallop Kingchansilp engage much of his effort in lifting up the security profession to be a skill labour level and to be all accepted from the society rather than the profession that based on daily minimum wages.
And as the honorary advisor of Executive Security Services Association of Thailand (ESSAT) who play the leader roll in urging for security act to be legislated in order to
standardize this profession and equitable to all parties from the client , service provider or even the security person itself. As security profession is concerning in life and property protection,
this profession deemed as one of the important profession where about 300,000 security persons are circulated in this field and still in demand more and more from the client..
Mrs. Thienrat Navamarat Director of Bangkok Skill Labour Development Center supported that security services still be required in a huge volume in a labour market to be assigned
for the office building factory department store condominium or residence housing for their safety protection.
As of the above, and with the awareness on the important of profession The Development Center in cooperation with ESSAT arrange the 4 days security training courses combined with
security services in the responsible area, notification, human relations, fire protection and fire fighting, crime protection, self-defense and knowledge of security systems.
Those who complete the training course will be recruited. The 3rd training course conducted consecutively from two training conduction earlier.
The qualification of the trainee required with minimum education level, male or female without criminal record with physically fitness.
After the opening ceremony, Dr Vallop Kingchansilp present the Minister with the site tour starting from Guts gallery that display history of the company and its network,
security systems and equipments and followed with Guts Baton demonstration which is the pride and proud of Guts that many of government authorities accept and take
Guts Baton as their personnel protection gear i.e. Correction Department, Special Force Police, Border Patrol Police etc.
The site tour ended with fire fighting and explosive disposal demonstration.

The Ministry of Justice by The Office of Justice Affairs engage the procedure to support and lift up security profession standard by
assigning the Faculty of Social Administration of Thammasat University set the research project to develop the security profession standard.
The research project leads by Associate Professor. Pongkrit Mongkolsinth as the Project Advisor.
As such, the research team by Associate Professor Pongkrit and Assistant Professor Phayao Srisangthong conducted the meeting with
Dr Vallop Kingchansilp President of APSA Thailand Chapter and Mr. Chucheep Rakngam President of Executive Security Services Association of Thailand for information, ideas, opinion and
advices in order to make this research being shared by all who concerned and to be acceptable and practicable.
Dr Vallop Kingchansilp and Mr. Chucheep Rakngam give information on the format of security business, security profession,
the concerning laws that direct and support the security profession and business, together with the problems and difficulties on private security industry plus
other information that concerning this research project.
After the meeting and discussion, A.P. Pongkrit said that the information received today are very useful to the research project.
He also invites Dr. Vallop to give a special lecture on the topic of Security Management to the student of the faculty.
He added that as when the research team have enough information, the seminar will be held for the public hearing from all parties concerned in very soon.

The Asian Professional Security Association or APSA Thailand Chapter participated in a walk rally campaign of “People Together for Social Protection” conducted by “People and Volunteer for Police Support Center” with Pol.Gen.Wiroj Phahonwet Deputy Commissioner General as the Chairman and Pol. Lt. General Chalermkiat Srivorakhan Commissioner as the board member and secretary of the coordination center
Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp President of Thailand Chapter in associated with The Executive Security Services Association of Thailand support the 4th walk rally conducted on Sunday 22nd February 2009 at the Royal Thai Police.
The ceremony was presided over by Pol. Lt. Gen. Chalermkiat with many participants from both public and private organization i.e. security associations in Thailand, The Federation of Thai Industries, Police Nursing College, people and police volunteer from local police stations, and many more.
After giving the address, the ceremony president together with participants walked from the Royal Thai Police, along Henri Dunant Road, pass the Thai Red Cross Society, Chulalongkorn Hospital, went along Ratchdamri Road and returned back at Royal Thai Police.
The campaign objective is to notify people on the activities of the center including the importance and benefits for all citizens. The campaign encourages organizations, institutions and people to participate in the project activities for life and property protection from crime in all general areas together with the intention in building up unity and cooperation in all communities. The activities are arrange to be conducted every 3rd Sunday of the month.

On 22nd September 2008, a security guard corporation from Japan leaded by Mr.Masakatsu Michihara President of Japanese Security Association and the members
pay a courtesy vsit to Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp - President of Asian Professional Security Association – APSA Thailand Chapter and CEO of Guts Investigation Co., Ltd.
During the warm welcome and hospitalities from the Thai host, both parities exchange and discussion on security industry of both countries and found that most of the
business are more likely to be the same either on competition, pricing or high turnover of manpower.
After the discussion, Dr. Vallop present to the guest Guts Baton demonstration. The demo showed the efficient capabilities of the baton for protection and restrain purpose.
The two associations exchange souvenirs and compliments to each other before leaving Guts compound with the promises that the two associations shall keep the good
connection for the future coordination.

Guts Investigation Co. Ltd., had been honored by Col. (Ret.) Shlomo Alon, Attache Ministry of Defense and and Mr. Yaki Oved, Police Attache from the Israel Embassy whom had met with Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp, President/CEO of the company and as President of APSA Thailand to observe the business operation on security and safety matters,on the14th of May 2008.
Mr. Oved and Mr. Alon were presented with background and company profile, together with the safety standards and working strategies of the company. Other than this, both parties also exchanged ideas and experiences on security measures of both countries. Mr. G.B. Singh former President of APSA India Chapter and Mrs. Aman Singh, Director of Sales and Marketing and Associate Editor of Security Today Magazine published in India made a courtesy to Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp, President of APSA Thailand Chapter and the executive board of directors on April 21, 2008.
Both parties had discuss and exchange ideas of security industry of the two countries as well as the propositions for the exhibition and international conference Intersec Thailand 2008 and Asian Security and Emergency Congress to be held in Bangkok during early Decembe 2008. Mr. G.B. Singh said he is keen to support and shall publicize the two events in the Security Today magazine, where Mrs. Aman is also responsible in the editorial part.

Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp and executive members of APSA Thailand Chapter made a study visit to Beijing, China in August of 2007. The purpose of the trip was to observe and study on security industry in China. During the trip, Dr. Vallop and members made a courtesy visit to China Security Association lead Mr. Lou Feng, President of the China Security Association.
At the meeting, the two association had exchange ideas and discussion on security industry between the two countries.
Mr. Lou Feng had also mentioned that China is prompt to help and support the conference, Asia Security and Emergency Congress, and the associated exhibition, Intersec Thailand 2008,
that is set to be held later this year.
Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp and members also had the opportunity to visit Beijing Security Service General Company welcomed by Mr. Zhang Qiang, The General Manager. BSSG is a private security company under the supervision from Chinese government with more than 100,000 security personnel providing security services to almost government and private office and premises in Beijing.

APSA Singapore Chapter led by President Mr. Joseph Tang made a study visit to Guts Group of companies on March 23, 2007.
The purpose of the visit was to celebrate and congratulate Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp President / CEO of Guts Investigation Co., Ltd. who was appointed as new President of APSA Thailand Chapter.
Mr. Joseph Tang and Dr. Vallop Kingchansilp discussed activities of the Singapore and Thailand Chapters as well as the security industry in both countries. Further discussions were also had on the Security Act.
Mr. Nikom Lertmallikaporn – President of International Exhibition and Promotion Co., Ltd. and a representative of Messe Frankfurt the world’s second largest event organizer presented a proposal to hold a security event called THAILAND INTERSEC to be held together with APSA Executive Committee Meeting which Thailand shall host in December 2008. The proposal was granted and all preparations shall proceed accordingly. |

At the Executive Committee meeting held on the same day, Mr. Sombat entrusted his title role to Dr. Vallop and wished the new APSA Thailand President future success in leading the organization both domestically and overseas. Dr. Vallop accepted the title and stated that he shall use his best endeavors to lead the association. Dr. Vallop also mentioned the possibility of an international event to be held next year in Bangkok. |
