Asian Professional Security Association (APSA) Thailand was formed in 1994. Since its inception, APSA Thailand has undertaken many activities aimed at enhancing knowledge and improving the professionalism of the Thai security industry. These activities include conferences, seminars and study/working visits.

APSA Thailand members consist of security professionals, security consultants as well as security equipment suppliers who have joined APSA Thailand with the aim to enhance their knowledge and understanding in the ever changing security issues and solutions. The inclusion of highly professional people has created a positive impact and help build a sound foundation for APSA’s future commitment to security.

Aims & Objectives

• To establish and promote the professional practice of security and safety.
• To establish and encourage professional standards of work and conduct for members of the security industry.
• To provide a centralized and recognized representative body for the safety and security industry and to collect and collate data as well as co-ordinate and gather information, ideas, knowledge, methods and techniques for the benefit and improvement of APSA members and the security industry.
• To promote and improve the status of individuals and members by providing a body for communication and interaction between all members of the security industry, thus making it possible for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, information and experience, in matters of common interest and mutual concern.

• Seminars - detailed discussions and interaction on key security issues and points.
• APSA International Conference - participation in the annual APSA International Conference.
• APSA Magazine - an important media correlating Thai security industry with Asia and rest of the world fraternities.
